ORGANIC LAVENDER Herbal OIL 1 oz or 2 oz
Lavender is cleansing, soothing and beautifying to the skin. The name Lavender comes from the Latin, lavare which means "to wash." Use it to cleanse, clear and moisturize, including the scalp, helping with flakes and itching. Super on dry, over-sunned or winter skin! With a history of easing burns, I've used it many times and keep it in my kitchen for ready use. It also has properties that encourage a youthful-looking and radiant complexion. I find it wonderful to smell for in my tub before bedtime to calm and relax. It has historically been used to promote sleep. Rubbing a small amount at temples may ease a tension headache!
TRADITIONAL USE: Thought to be deeply cleansing, thought to protect from damaging effect of oxidation, found to be highly moisturizing, may be oil controlling, may ease rashy or itchy dry skin, flaky skin, many have used to ease sunburns or heat burns, may soothe irritated tissue or injuries, may reduce redness or blemishes, may fight germs, thought to promote blood flow giving skin a healthy glow.
