USE: Gently rub butter on clean skin, avoiding eye area. Contains small honey beads that melt on skin contact. These add nourishment and attract moisture for an additional benefit. Some use a larger amount at night for a deep treatment with cotton gloves or socks to help it stay on longer and to avoid getting on bedding. Also after showering is a good time to use it, when your skin is damp.
CAUTION: There are those who may have an allergy or intolerance to certain plants. Calendula may cause a rare allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family (Ragweed). It is a good idea to test a small amount of any new skin product on your inner arm to make sure it agrees with you before you use. Some feel pregnant women should use caution with herbal products containing Calendula. Our products contain infused oils which use a very small amount of plant material infused in olive oil.
